The Energy Consultants Association (ECA) is an independent, not for profit, self regulated trade body that represents and protects the best interests of energy consultants, intermediaries and their customers. The ECA supports all non domestic activity. Our objectives are;
To be the central representative body of the energy consultancy sector to the government and other stakeholders;
To be the recognised voice of the sector – promoting, supporting and championing the UK Energy consultancy sector
To be a technical resource centre providing relevant guidance to members;
To be a forum for the exchange of non-competitive information and help to reduce fraud
To be a research centre aggregating industry statistics, sector analysis and market information
To improve standards by self regulation / a code of conduct that all members adhere too.

Membership is open to all energy consultants, but there are certain criteria to ensure the quality and integrity of our association. All members must be registered with the Ombudsman’s Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) scheme, demonstrating a commitment to high standards of dispute resolution.
Additionally, members are expected to align with the main principles of the ECA, actively contributing to the development and betterment of the energy consultancy sector.
